Take a Test

Do you need to take a test?

You can use our center to take exams for specific courses, make-up exams, and place in (or out of) courses. You also can take national standardized tests as an IUPUI student or Indianapolis resident.

Course exams

Some course exams are taken outside the classroom, but administered and supervised by testing center staff. Our three computer labs offer 115 computers for course exams.

Students should use the link given to them by their instructors to sign up for testing appointments. Students may use that link to schedule, reschedule, and cancel. Please contact cltest@iupui.edu if you are unable to register for a particular exam.

Faculty/ Instructors: Please contact Kristi Cobble (cltest@iupui.edu) prior to submitting course testing requests to verify that your course information is correct in our system.

Instructors wishing to use software, other than CANVAS, must contact Kristi Cobble (cltest@iupui.edu) before the 2nd week of classes for the current semester. The Testing Center will notify the instructor if the request is accepted and compatible with other programs used within the SL070 lab.

Make-up exams

Make-up testing is available to IUPUI students who miss tests in the classroom due to illnesses or emergencies. Your instructor determines whether you are eligible to make up a test.
