Take the Miller Analogies Test

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is used for admission to certain graduate programs. It often is taken in lieu of the GRE.

Performance on the MAT is designed to reflect your analytical thinking, an ability that is critical for success in graduate school and professional life. MAT scores help graduate schools identify candidates whose knowledge and abilities go beyond mere memorizing and repeating information. The test consists of 120 objective analogies in 60 minutes.

Step 1: Schedule your test

You can schedule your exam during any of these days and times:

  • Monday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Miller Analogies Test is offered in the Business Building (BS3000).
