IUPUI offers Remote Testing for students unable to travel to IUPUI for standard placement testing.
If you live in the greater Indianapolis region, you will need to sign up for the placement test at IUPUI through the Orientation Website here: http://welcome.iupui.edu/.
At this time, we only offer the Math Placement Exam as an option for remote testing. To complete the English Placement Process, please follow the steps that are described at http://english.uc.iupui.edu. (Note: Students should follow the steps at the web site before coming to orientation.)
All other exams will need to be completed at IUPUI.
To use this service, you will need, your Student ID Number. Please have this available before signing up.

Where can I take these tests?
The IUPUI Math Placement Test is offered at select ACT Centers throughout the United States as well as many college campuses using ACT's Compass/ESL software.
Is there a fee associated?
Most institutions charge a fee for their services in providing this exam. However, the cost of travel and accommodations may exceed this cost and be ultimately cheaper. We do offer the exam free for our students on our campus.
